Strategies in 10 team vs. 12 team draft

Postby mtarail » Sun Feb 22, 2004 7:55 pm

I've never done a 10 team league before, so I was wondering if people approached their drafts a little differently than a 12 team league.

Intuitively, it seems like getting elite players at each position might be a little more important in a 10 team league. For example, the statistical loss between the 7th and 10th best catcher is probably greater than that between the 9th and 12th.
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

I really don't change my strategy that much between 10 and 12 teams....the only difference I really make, is going more with BA in 10 teams...and a little more to positional scarcity in 12...and in 12 need to be more familiar with more the draft is deeper... :-)
