Yeah I'm the Pedro owner in my cafe league. I just dragged him to DL and was lucky enough to replace him with Cueto. If it's only 4-6 weeks I wouldn't dream of dropping him.
Matt Kemp droppage just hit 11,000 by the way. (Am I missing something?)
Other than a 2-for-12 week and platoon situation with Ethier/Pierre, then no.
If he was good enough to draft as highly as he probably was, then he should at least be given the first month. Juan Pierre is hitting like .030 or something so this platoon won't last too long.

Well, yeah, most leagues have DL spots. But most Yahoo! leagues are publics, and publics only have one. i'd guess that the average fantasy team probably has two guys DLed at this point. Gets worse if you're trying to stash Longoria...

I personally dropped McLouth, but I'm not too broken up about it. My OF currently consists of Braun, Figgins, Holliday, Hart, Francouer, Butler, and Hamilton, with only three slots (Braun/Figgins both playing IF for me).
Nobody huge yet, but I'm waiting for it. Even with the #9 priority (after Cueto), I'm confident that one or two big stars will be dropped within the next month.
Edit: EE just got dropped this morning (for Keppinger nonetheless)... tempting, seeing as how I have Braun at 3B and could use him in the OF, but it would mean dropping Towles, Butler, or Hamilton. Very tempting... but I think I'll wait to see if he clears waivers first.

Happened in a league I'm in with friends, so I jumped all over both of those idiot moves. In another more competitive league I'm in somebody dropped Andruw Jones, so I should be able to snag him off of the WW.
