The Truth about Soriano's Value

Postby Dude86 » Sun Feb 22, 2004 5:43 pm

All this talk about Soriano qualifying at SS and OF and it all helping his value, doesn't mean that much. No matter what he'll qualify at second. I don't care where Soriano might qualify he should be drafted number 3 no matter what. If he qualifies at SS he's still not as valuable as A-rod or Pujols and if doesn't qualify at SS he's still more valuable than Vlad and Beltran. There is nothing that will change his value this season.

What if by some act of God, Soriano donned the tools of ignorance and became C eligible?

Just curious?? :-) :-b

I might consider drafting him higher if he qualified at catcher.

Granted...in season leagues it really doesn't effect his value much...but it does allow for alot more flexibility come draft time and though the season....but in keeper leagues...if he loses 2B eligibility...it could effect his value for next year....thus effecting trade value this year.... :-)

I like Soriano but it really dosen't matter to me where he plays because I will not take him above Vlad or Beltran.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

I am going to avoid drafting A-rod, his hr and sb numbers are going to go down.

I agree with this epsn article:
