Lately I have been getting this gut feeling that Carlos Lee is not the player that his 2003 stats suggest. I know that he will only be turning 28 during the 2004 season, but does he realistically have brighter years in his future?

Guy is for real.
Or at least I hope, because he's my third outfielder. Seriously though, he's got the skills and is at an age where he should only be getting better. Risky as your second outfielder. Very solid as your third in my opinion.
It's time to roll the dice.

I've been keeping my eye on Lee since 2001, and I am shocked that he took THIS LONG to put up those numbers. I thought 2002 was gonna be his real breakthrough.

I think his SB will go down but the rest of his stats will be the same or better.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis
Stewie : [watching a baseball game] Why does that man drop his club before he runs? I would bring it with me!

I think that he will increase his production slightly from last year. He's the real deal.

His 03 season was identical to his 02 season, just the abs increased from 492 to 623.
OPS
02 845
02 839
RC/27
02 5.89
03 5.95
I think he stays at this level, but won't improve. His walk rate is low.
