Does Corey Patterson Really Stink?

Patterson has always been an ok value when starting in fantasy basball. So as long as you can plug him in for his starts and sit him when he sits you get good value.

From a real baseball standpoint he stinks though. Baker is making a huge mistake by starting him over Bruce and maybe at some point that costs patterson his job, but since they have one of the worst managers in baseball maybe it doesn't.

I somewhat agree about the real baseball standpoint. In all honesty I would move Dunn to 1b and let Bruce play LF. Votto is not the prospect that Bruce is, so send him down to the minors until someone in the OF gets hurt, then bring him back up and move Dunn back to LF.

Dunn getting traded is probably the best solution all around though.

I'll gladly pass on trying to hit the 4-week CP Powerball sweepstakes while paying the idiot tax all the way to the bottom. When a player displays such obvious, correctable fundamental flaws year after year along with the well-deserved headcase reputation he carries, there's not much to enjoy.
