Agreed but All-Star appearances are over-rated. Until fans aren't voting these guys in you can assume the best players are getting in. But not matter what at least 3 of the 5 will be above average players.

Your top 5 are excellent. But, I also like Velez. He has a chance to be a stud as he has fantastic wheels and underrated power. Alan Horne has nice upside potential as well.
I assume the top prospects are all taken -- including Jarrod Parker, Rick Porcello, etc. Can you guys choose players that haven't been drafted yet -- high school, college and foreign players?
If so, take a look at Pedro Alvarez, Tim Beckham and also Justin Smoak, Brian Matusz, Eric Hosmer, Ed Salcedo and Yorman Rodriguez.

I agree. He has hit more HR than is body type would indicate, however. The guy is tiny. I can't see him hitting a ton of HR, but if he can get on base, then he will cause a lot of havoc on the paths. I mentioned this in another thread, but I think his ceiling is Chone Figgins.

Yeah we have an amateur draft in June for college and high school players and we have a minor league draft in the offseason for all the players that haven't been picked yet. Also how much potential does Cody Johnson have?
Cody Johnson, according to Project Prospect, beat up pitching in the Appy League. The Braves usually have a good eye for talent. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain and improve on his showing as he moves up. He's only 19, which is probably why he's not as well known as the other players you mentioned.
I like the Chone Figgins comparison. I think Velez has more power than Figgins if his old wrist injury has improved. Velez success will depend in large part on his plate discipline. A decent increase in walks and 'on base percentage' and Velez may have a slightly higher upside offensively than Figgins. Position flexibility is tremendous, especially if Velez retains eligibility at 2B or 3B.

Jay BruceWill be a star with 35hr+ power Chase Headley I don't have a good feeling about this guy, i think he is overrated Matt LaPorta love his bat and i believe with braun moving to the OF he will have a spot at 3B Andy LaRoche injury filled career J.R. Towles i like towels to be a top 7 fantasy catcher for the next 8 years Eugenio Velez great speed, but i wonder if he can hit enough to be a force Cody Johnson don't know much about Alan Horne i think he will be a decent number 4 starter James Adkins Padres i believe? don't know much about Ryan Sweeney don't expect much
This is my minor league system in a 18 team league, so i want to know if i've done a good job. Thanks in advance.
