Agreed.. but I get his house is a bad place to be right now.

He just grounded out to the pitcher.. with a tape measure shot...

The entire team seems to have a world series hangover. Helton is the only one hitting.

yeah, Lyon has pitched his last game on my fantasy team. Not sure if this is a slump breaker or not, but I'd say it's just a hit against a horrible pitcher.

:~( I can't decide whether to drop Lyon yet from my team. His ERA and WHIP are horrible, but he does have 1 win and 1 save so far this season. If he keeps the closers gig for a while longer, he is going to get tons of save ops playing for Arizona.

It is funny to read this thread although I understand how frustrating it can be when an expected stud starts off ice cold. One week or so is a small sample.

For people who expect Holliday to be Pujols-like all the time, one look at Holliday's H/R splits tells his story. He will very likely be a below average OF on the road considering his 90 point career BA differential. He's a .272 hitter on the road with only 34 HR in well over 1000 ABs. Like many other Colorado players, Holliday is only fantasy worthy because of Coors field. That doesn't mean he shouldn't produce a monster season but owners should realize what they are really getting with him.

The fact that the Rockies started the season the road might help explain his early season suckiness, or further severe suction when he's not at home.
