I don't really have a problem with a Red Sox shirt being buried in the dirt underneath Yankee Stadium. To me, it simply represents what the future holds for both organizations.

Yankees GM Brian Cashman said that Derek Jeter (quadriceps) will likely be out until Monday.
Alberto Gonzalez will likely keep filling in while Jeter misses the Yankees' series with the Red Sox this weekend. The decision could be partially based on the cold weather expected in Boston. The Yankees play in Tampa Bay on Monday.
