A sweep to start the season, I wonder what the odds in Vegas would have been for the sweep of the Tigers to start the season?
Let's just hope that we do better than the group Tony Pena had to start the 2003 season
Some people take smoke breaks. I choose to take fantasy baseball breaks!

I think Hillman is quite a bit better of a manager than Tony Pena. The only thing Pena did was get the guys to play with confidence with the whole "We Believe" scandal. He wasn't very good at calling a game as the manager. Hillman has them playing confident and knows how to manage a scrappy baseball team. I don't look for us to let up and start stock pileing losses like we did in 2003. Plus, I think we have better young talent than we did in 2003 too and eventually talent comes through. Dayton Moore can take some credit too, since he's been our GM we've made a lot of great strides towards being a respectable major league team.
