Truthfully guys I think it's an interesting coincidence but nothing more. Alexa and Rodriguez are both very common names, and red-tailed hawks aren't uncommon at all (at least here in Arizona).

What's up with the mowing pattern on the grass? Doesn't that seem a bit odd? And how did someone just happen to have that camera focusing on her at that time? Seems possible, but unlikely.
That could easily have been photoshopped, that's all I'm saying. This could very well turn into one of those "rest of the story" stories.
The grass is what makes me question this story. First it was simply the name and whole situation, but with all the major media covering it, I figured it was just one of those weird and unexplainable things in life. But that picture sure doesn't look right because of the grass. Can anyone shed some light on why the grass is cut so weird right at that spot?
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
It's not the tarp that makes me wonder, it's the abrupt change in the grass mowing pattern right next to the bird. The grass on the right has a distinct mowing pattern, then next to the bird it changes.
Again, this all may be legit, but that pic allows room for lots of questions.

Oh yeah I remember hearing that. Didn't they use tommy guns or soemthings? It was a bird that distracted Bill Buckner too huh?
That happened at Shea Stadium.
Anyways, yeah the grass is a little weird but I don't know why that would make you question the picture. Maybe if the grass behind the hawk was different from the grass directly behind the girl, but I don't see what about it could be used as evidence that it might be photoshopped.
I don't think it's a mow pattern either, it just looks like they had to put new strips of grass in those two spots. They're still preparing the field for Opening Day, so I can see why they might need to do things like that.
