Hey,
I didn't really know were to put this, so here it is. I have two teams with pretty decent pitching staffs. My question is - is it worth it to replace a starting pitcher like a Gorzelanny or Willis with a good relief pitcher, not a closer, who will get a better ERA and WHIP but fewer K's? I'm thinking about a set-up man like Okajima.
My rotations:
sp - Erick Bedard
sp - Felix Hernandez
rp - Billy Wagner
rp - Kerry Wood
p - Chad Billingsly
p - Clay Buchholz
p - Zack Greinke
bn - Tim Hudson
bn - Brian Bannister
bn - Fausto Carmona
sp - Jake Peavy
sp - Chris Young
rp - Billy Wagner
rp - Bobby Jenks
p - Brad Penny
p - Clay Buchholz
p - Dontrelle Willis
bn - Ian Kennedy
bn - Hiroki Kuroda

in normal 5x5, guys like Broxton, Bell, Betancourt, Marmol, and Neshek make nice RP to help out as you described, but not sure I'd do it for Okajima.
