my biggest fantasy weakness

by far my biggest weakness when it comes to fantasy baseball is who to start/bench on a given day. i dont mean pitchers. if theyre scheduled to start, i almost always put them out there. no, i'm talking hitters. if given a choice between 2 hitters, i always, ALWAYS, pick the one who ends up not producing. take yesterday for example. spots i had not occupied by 'sure things' are 3b, IF, and 2 UTIL. i end up starting kouzmanoff, adam laroche, victorino, and ibanez. so what do i end up with on wednesday? 2 for 16 with 1 run. my bench had weeks, edwin encarnacion, and yunel escobar. thats 4 for 14 with 3 hr, 3 runs, and 7 rbi. i have no idea why i left yunel on my bench, but i dropped weeks down there because he hadnt look very impressive to date, and i thought that kouz was against a weaker starter than edwin. i wish this was an uncommon occurance for me, but it isnt. am i the only one who cannt pick the better player to start?
Today im going with weeks, edwin, victorino, and yunel. watch kouz and laroche each hit hr's

In my 20 teamer, I always seem to pick the wrong one.
I left a 2HR game by J.D Drew on the bench last year, after a ridiculously long drought from him. Was not happy.

The thing you gotta do is keep 1 group of guys in there at a time....quite moving them in and out. Give each guy 4-5 days, at least, before making a decision to keep them in there or take them out.

You should play in weekly line-up leagues then

with my luck i would bench dunn on one of the weeks he decides to hit 4 hr's
but seriously, i should do as J35J suggests and stick with the same guys for several days. i just get anxious when someone doesnt produce for a couple days and the guy on my bench keeps getting a few hits. patience, i just need patience and to trust my guys
