Julio Lugo?

Alex Cora played SS tonight instead of Julio Lugo. Is there an injury I haven't heard about or was it just a scheduled off day. I have Yunel Escobar on my bench and could have used those 3 rbi.

Bosox really like Cora, so he'll steal some at-bats from time to time. I'm pissed he ended up going 2 for 2, would have like to see him suck because I am a Lugo owner too.

I would just like to announce that I have dropped Lugo today and was very disappointed in this performance week one. Capped off with 3 errors in today's game. Did the circus music start playing every time the ball was hit to him? What a clown.

Not another short stop...I had J.J. Hardy backing him up, I'll just give J.J. the full time starting job for the time being. There isn't too much to work with at SS on free agency. I had my eyes on Keppinger though...in yahoo he is SS and 3B eligible, and is off to a good start with the so far suprising Reds. Also Cristian Guzman of Washington. He's batting lead off and has lots of speed. He's a veteran as well, but injuries have plagued him for a couple seasons dropping his value a lot.

Anyways, I dropped Lugo for Volquez...I needed a 5th starter.

I haven't seen him play this year. On paper he looks like a decent low end MI. Is he really as bad as people on these boards have made him out to be? More importantly, is he in danger of losing his job?
Boston has a minor league SS who's supposed to be a great prospect but his offensive numbers don't look very impressive.
The question here is, is it premature to drop Lugo?
