Ugh, Bills is not looking good tonight. I really hope nothing is seriously wrong with him, I bought into him big time this season.

His command was absolutely horrible tonight. Waited a week and a bit for this start and get this mediocre game. Between him, Oswalt, Maine, and Hughes, my ERA and WHIP is by far and away the worst in the league. Any thoughts on whether he just had an off day or if there is something wrong with him?

im out. i havent dropped him in all leagues but i dropped him in 2 because shawn marcum was available.

Any new thoughts here? I didn't get to see anything from the game last night and while 12 K's is nice, but 5 runs in 6 innings and the loss is not good. I'm trying to trade him in my league as part of a package deal but I doubt anyone bites...

Last night's start didn't seem to be indicative of an injury. Sure he took the loss and had a bad ERA, but the 12 Ks to just 2 BBs and a decent whip almost made it a useful start. I probably won't start him his next turn, but I wouldn't be dropping him yet--- but for Marcum, sure.

Good Stats here. From Rotowire:

Billingsley dropped to 0-4 after allowing five runs over six innings Thursday against the Diamondbacks.

The good news is that Billingsley struck out a career-high 12 while walking just two. Two of the five runs scored on a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly, so it's not like Billingsley was getting hit hard. With a 32:13 K:BB in 20.2 innings, Billingsley could represent a bit of a buy-low opportunity.

This kid obviously has the stuff to be an ace, hes just going through some growing pains. I think he will be lights out in a few months.

Unreal and unreliable...all at the same time. Just frustrating to watch him have moments of brilliance and then look like Danieal Cabrera the next time out
