Unbelievable. I was scratching my head at the prospect of him being pushed back to Milwaukee, but now they bring him in in the 4th? Not good in a H2H points league.. At least he should still be a 2-start pitcher next week. Not that that helps much this week.

yeah i'm not really following the managers' logic here. why put two of your young guys in for middle relief and burnup their start in the rotation?? that is just poor managing right there. i mean i can somewhat understand because they obviously don't want to burn up their entire bullpen in order to have enough RP to start the whole game, but what was the point of sitting them in the beginning then bringing them in when the weather is getting worse? i fail to see any logic in both dugouts.

i got a question for you guys...since they haven't played 5 full innings, and this game gets PPD will this game count or no? is the rule that they have to play 5 FULL innings or just get to the fifth? if this game is a wash that is good news for billingsley and lincecum owners.

5 Full must be played, unless the home team has the lead & then 4.5 will work. In this case if they cancel now it will just be washed out & no stats.

It's actually not good news if you're in a H2H points league. Lincecum is at a whopping .5 points and holding for me right now and if it doesn't count that's 0 points and more importantly, one of my 7 pitcher slots for the week is wasted. Hello 0-1..

WOW Lincecum came back into the game after the long rain delay. Man he has an amazing arm.

For those of you that missed this game, Lincecum was firing. He consistently popped the mit at 97-98 mph with his fastball. it's been a while since I've seen a starter (even though he was relieving last night he's still a starter) throw consistently that hard. 2008 looks good for us owners.
