Likely candidates are that the credit card you have on record with wallet has expired, or if you somehow have no birthdate associated with your account. Take a quick look - if it is neither of those, PM me your Yahoo ID (NOT your password), and I'll try to get someone in customer care to take a look. I prefer it when the customers can give us money...
I found the issue and it worked after that. Thanks a lot, Genie.

So I'll freely admit I'm no expert on Vista and all the "clever" things it may do in the name of security. I can't say for certain that the Windows Firewall is the only issue under Vista, but all the descriptions are consistent with not being able to talk to the ports where StatTracker sends its data. Two users above mentioned still having problems, one mentioned using Vista, the other didn't say. Anyone having problems and not running Vista?
I couldn't run the live draft applet correctly because of my work's restrictions. Do you know if stattracker will work properly (ie update). I've bought it in previous years and tried the other day but couldn't because of the problem you outlined earlier in all probability, but now I'm concerned it won't work even if I do? (It worked OK in previous years, but then again so did live draft!).

Would I get money back if it didn't work OK?
If you could not use the live draft application in the environment you care about, it is extremely unlikely that StatTracker would work in that same environment; their network usage patterns are very similar. As for refund policies, I couldn't and shouldn't say; that is a side of the world that is far removed from what I do, and I'd be best not to guess about company policy when I don't know. That is a question better answered by customer care.
But you do raise a good point - people who are not getting StatTracker updates: in each case did you used to get those updates, but then it stopped? Because you can certainly be sitting behind a firewall that just plain won't allow StatTracker to work at all.
My stattracker worked great during the free period, there were about two days that I didn't have it, then I bought it, since then it hasn't been "streaming".

All other flash apps seem to work just fine.
Again, I run vista and have the latest flash.
Which port does stattracker try to use?
For StatTracker to work properly, you'd need to be able to talk to Yahoo on ports 1843 and 11999. 1843 is a recent change/addition due to Adobe's changes. If you are Windows/Vista network/security savvy, and have anything to add about whether it is getting in the way of those ports, I'd be interested in anything you have to share.
I run Vista and Stattracker hasn't given me any problems at all the entire season so far. Granted, I don't sit and watch Stattracker to ensure it's updating with every at-bat, I'm typically doing 10 other things, but I'll try to check for certain tomorrow. I know it streamed fantasy football stuff last year with zero issues (and I also had AOL's live scoring running and updating simultaneously), so I doubt there's going to be any problems. But I will pull it up tomorrow during the games and make sure to have an at-bat go by while I'm watching it just to be sure.
