Injury Strategy

Postby cjm088 » Wed Apr 02, 2008 4:46 pm

Whats the better strategy when replacing an injured player, picking up a player that can play multiple positions and keeping them on the roster or finding a player thats more of stop gap for that position? For example, I need to put eric chavez on the dl, do I pick up marco sutaro who can play multiple positions or brandon inge who will be the stop gap? Another example is rocco baldelli, do i want marcus thames or coco crisp? not sure what the best strategy is. I'm in a AL only, and phils, roto 5x5 league with .50c per pickup. thanks for the help

I would get the best player available for the position you are replacing.
