Derek Lowe's leg

AS my 5th starter, I am counting on Lowe to give me some innings. After being hit in the lower leg April 1st, I am not sure if I should be scanning the WW yet.

This is the most up to date info I found over at KFFL

PA SportsTicker reports Los Angeles Dodgers SP Derek Lowe (foot) was forced out of the team's game Tuesday, April 1, against the San Francisco Giants after taking a grounder in the left foot. He tried to side-step a grounder in the top of the seventh, but it struck his foot. He left the field under his own power and was replaced by P Joe Beimel.

Update from LA Daily Times at 10:37 Am April 2


The Los Angeles Daily News reports that Derek Lowe is "fine" after taking a comebacker off his leg on Tuesday.

Lowe was taken out of the game, but the only damage done seems to be a bruise on his left calf. He should be fine for his next start.
