Brad Penny or CC Sabathia?

both are young, but though last years stats didnt show it, i think penny is a better pitcher.

my starters are:
Oswalt
Beckett
Matt Morris
Contreras
either penny or sabathia will fit here.

I'm with ya, even thought the stats don't reflect it. Has shown great potential in the past. Take a late round flyer on him. Low risk, possible high reward. Really what 'sleeper' picks are all about, take a guy you've got a gut feeling about.

I agree Penny is a better pitcher than the stats showed last season...

That said, why are you even thinking about this? Sabathia could be a weak 3rd starter on a fantasy team, a good #4 and in your case a GREAT 5th starter

Penny...his 3.50 era and 1.13 whip after the break last year were pleasantly surprising.

All things equal, I like CC. Although you could probably get Penny a little later.
