He already has 2 HR's . He does this like every year. Starts off hot but then cools down. But there's been talk that this year he'll most likely approach 30 HR's.... He's sitting in the WW in almost all my leagues too...

...and he's blocking Steve Pearce. I know Pittsburgh's been shopping him, but like in fantasy, he's getting no takers.

For some weird reason, he's a guy I irrationally hate simply because he's always blocking someone else and just doing enough to keep his job. I can picture him sitting at home in May laughing, knowing he's about to stink up the joint for 3 and a half months and there's nothing Pittsburgh will do about it because his end of the year numbers are respectable.

So to answer your question, no. I do not think he will hit 30 HR. And for some reason, if he did, I would probably hate him more.

Pearce did play better when he got a chance this spring.

Also, the Pirates were actively shopping Nady, so they didn't necessarily think he "deserved his place." I believe they wanted him gone so they could bring up Pearce (who was the minor league player of the year last year).

I would understand if you said Nady deserved the RF job because of a proven track record (...of injuries, but that's an entirely different flaming paper bag), but to say Pearce should play better to earn the job...well, he did.

Finally, I know you wouldn't be insinuating that Nady should get the job just because he's a vet. That would just be ignorant, and you are anything but that. Believe me, I've seen your other posts...
