I'm thinking he'll top 30sb's this year. Near the end of last season's fantasy baseball, after crushing the competition (hey Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun helped), I played around and decided I wanted to not only score max in home runs, runs, and rbi's but stolen bases as well. Checking weekly charts, Davis and McLouth always seemed to top those lists on stolen bases. I figure he was doing it at the end of last season and he'll continue doing it now with with the job.
Ichiro? No...
Dunn? No...
Ichiro Dunn! 106 runs, 23 home runs, 87 rbis, 23 stolen bases, 0.313 season average
Adam Suzuki! 106 runs, 23 home runs, 87 rbis, 23 stolen bases, 0.313 season average
Double the fun!

after taking a better look at his 07 numbers, in 329 at bats last season he amounted:
62 runs, 13 hrs, 38 rbis and 22 sbs

with the leadoff job under his belt for sure, would this be his ceiling:
100 runs, 20 hrs, 80 rbis and 35 sbs

He was my stop gap last year when I could not find an OF in my 16 team league. He was great when he played but he platooned way too much for a league that has weekly lineups. Of course I drafted him in both my 12 and 16 team leagues this year when I found out he would be starting. Nate should be an absolute bargain this year. Too bad I didn't start him this week though :*)

It wouldn't surprise me at all. I've been keeping my eye on him and it doesn't seem many people in my leagues pick him up. There's so much proven talent around already and prospects around... you just have to keep watching during the season to see who's excelling. ;-D He's not the only prospect I'm watching though.
