Kelly Johnson is resting a sore knee Monday, manager Bobby Cox said.
"I’m just resting Kelly," Cox said. "He’s played a ton. Too much, really." Martin Prado is filling in at second base.

Kelly Johnson came out of Saturday's game following his first at-bat after perhaps tweaking his sore knee.
All of Atlanta's regulars left early, but the rest got two at-bats. Johnson slid hard into second in the first, and while he came off the field OK, it's possible his knee was bothering him again. It'd still be a surprise if he didn't play Sunday.

Kelly Johnson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he's been feeling pain in his left knee since spring training of 2007.
"It's just something that's going to bother me, more an annoyance than anything. They don't know what it is. Running a lot, it hurts sometimes. Legging out a triple, you might see a grimace on my face," he said. For now, it doesn't seem like the injury should affect Johnson's playing time, but it's something to keep an eye on.

Kelly Johnson left Monday's game after three innings with an undisclosed injury.
It was almost certainly his left knee bothering him again. The soreness flared up again last week, and though the Braves have said they aren't concerned, that it's now taken him out of a regular-season game makes it something to worry about. Martin Prado took over at second base tonight.
Sure sounds like a recurring problem that could last all season or even shelve him at some point...
KJ owners, if you've got the bench room, it might be wise to pick up a fall-back option.
