Rd1. Pick 12: Clayton Kershaw
Rd2. Pick 1: Gio Gonzalez
Rd3. Pick 12: Luke Hochevar
Rd4. Pick 1: Rick Porcello
Rd5. Pick 12: Pedro Alvarez

Glad to see that people in my league didn't look forward to the 08 draft and that I got Alvarez so late.

Not a big fan of your second and third round picks. Without knowing the context of the league, I'd guess you reached on both.

Your draft confuses me, how did you get Kershaw so late and how could you wait on Porcello/Alvarez so long? I'd easily take them over your 2/3 rd picks.

We don't keep minors players automatically (have to be included in 15 keepers, otherwise not kept) and this was before spring training so he slipped because the chances of him making an impact were slim. Same with Porcello or Alvarez but I think they have a chance to be top prospects, worthy of a roster spot on a rebuilding team, by the off season. I have a week pitching staff so I was hoping for some impact with Hochevar and I like Gio Gonzalez, hope he comes up by all star break.
