Yahoo DL?

Postby CrashOverrid3 » Mon Mar 31, 2008 12:09 pm

Yesterday I submitted Rodney and Shields to the DL.. and today they are back on the bench.... try to put them on the DL again and they won't stay.. what's the deal? Anyone else having this problem or is it something new?

I haven't had DL problems. Did you click "Submit Changes"? Did you accidentally edit your roster some day in the future (eg not today or tomorrow)?

When you hit submit, do you get the red message at the top of the page that says you've exceeded the # of available DL slots?

Try going to your next day lineup and doing it there.

Do you mean "Edit Lineup"? That link turns out to be pretty silly; the only thing that is doing if you were already on your team page is it takes you to tomorrow's lineup.

There is definitely a confusing situation where if you edit a future lineup, then put someone on your DL today, it already has a saved lineup for tomorrow where he isn't on the DL, so when tomorrow comes you'll find he was moved back out of the DL. Stuff like that. I know another guy here had worked up a fix for that, treating the DL slots as special. I'm not sure if that ever made it live. I'll check with him.

What does everyone think about the idea of making players that are listed as NA having a spot like players on the DL. Sorta like a mnor league spot. Maybe 1 to 3 spots? Just a thought.

Yeah it was weird, but that "fixed" it for me so I am a happy camper now :D

I'm not sure if I like that or not, though it would be nice to have available.
