In general, cold weather helps pitchers.

It hurts everyone since it increases injury chances. I know I'm pretty scared about Sheets pitching on a rainy, slippery field in Wrigley. That is how he tweaked his groin last year, playing on a slippery field.

I'm pitching Roy, he is usually pretty good against the Yankees. I am sitting Wainwright against Colorado though.
