After seeing Nick now through spring and last night. I would have to say in that park, and with the players around him, he is an easy 290-300 hitter this year with 25 HR and 100 RBI(+/-10). The right field line is 333 in Nattyville.
He is an OPS monster and is on a mission I feel. Think of him as the "other" Adam LaRoche with a better eye.
Does not turn 30 until the Sept. & as far as I am concerned, he is almost like a 4th year 27 year old. He has only had 1 full season in '06 and then in '07, the leg.
What do you think?

Nick has always had the skills, but he's never shown the ability to stay on the field. He's an injury magnet. Whether it's a broken leg or fractured wrist. Something always comes up. If he can manage 500 abs, Johnson would be a great asset to anyone's fantasy team. Also be aware that he might be traded and depending on where he lands his value can sky rocket.
Yea he's always been that hitter, he's still an injury risk though and last night doesn't change that. It was nice to see him stretch the double in the first off of Francoeur and then test him again scoring on Kearns' hit.
Nick the Stick is definety worth picking up depending on your roster. He will almost surely get hurt at some point, but ya don't gotta keep him. The last full year he played 147 games and hit: .290, OPB-428, R-100, Doubles-46, HR-23, RBI-77, BB-100
