Just curious which teams you think have the most interesting opening day matchups.
Call me a homer but I personally think this is an easy answer, Brewers @ Cubs. This is a matchup that was decided by the H2H record last year. If the Brewers don't choke away the game where Aramis hit a walkoff in the 9th the two teams tie and are playing a tie breaker for the division. On paper these two teams are extremely close to each other again this season. For the 2nd year in a row the Cubs get 3 home series and the Brewers just 2 so this first series is just huge. This is one matchup where I think this first 3 games may in the long run decide who wins the division.
Any other matchups out there that you think are just huge for BOTH teams compared to the typical ones(I mean Nats vs Braves? Big deal).

Mil / CHC is the most interesting matchup.
I'd say #2 is Torii Hunter starting the new season, as an Angel, at the Metrodome.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

The Toronto-Yankees series could have an interesting dynamic to it.

I think it gets a little more interesting when you add in the storyline that the Marlins beat the Mets on the last day of the season last year and officially put the nail in the coffin for the Met's '07 post-season chances. I think Hanley was quoted as saying something along the lines of "F*** the Mets" when he was asked about that final game.
