LA Times reports today Ethier wins starting job over Pierre

Any speculation on where Pierre might end up?
If Jerry Owens' injury turns out to be serious, I could see the White Sox having interest in Pierre, especially since they want to trade Crede and LA has injury problems at 3B. No way the Sox would take on Pierre's big contract though.

I don't buy the power that Eithier showed in ST, but I think he can easily produce 15-20 HR if he plays full time. That said, I don't think he's as valuable a FANTASY player as Pierre because there are plenty of guys that can hit .280-.290 with 20HRs, very few can steal 60 bags. In REAL baseball, the dodgers are making the right move.
