Most of you probably don't know me, I'm a regular on the football side. ;-D

I don't know how many of you have heard of this kid (Tim Mehlville) but he's a pitcher from Wentzville Holt High School, throws mid-90s and I don't know about the first pick but I've heard real close to that. Anyway why I'm posting this is because he works at my dad's batting cages, and there are pro scouts in there all the time and I've got his autograph. B-) O ya, I know a future maybe top 5 pick on a first name basis, aren't I awesome. No, I just wanted to post it cause I think it's pretty awesome that a guy that could potentially be the number 1 pick works for my dad. I work there too and talk to him sometimes, he's kind of like a deer in the headlights all the time, but man he can pitch. I know it's not really relevant to anything and I really didn't know where to put this but I thought it was awesome and should be shared. ;-D

edit: By the way, I know a few of you live in the O'Fallon area, I don't know if you have kids or not but just in case your interested, it's "The Hitting Zone" -- terrible name, I know but it's off I-70 and Brian rd. ;-D

If he doesn't have an agent give him my name.

Tell him that I can get him paid in Canadian dollars. Plenty O Loonies. ;-D

I can also introduce him to KC's old girlfriend, she makes a nasty kimchi soup and has very low standards.

When they go to get drafted it's called an "advisor", if they have an official agent they can't go to college or something like that.
No college = no leverage.

Wrong again. High school kids use going to college as a threat to get teams to give them big bucks all the time. The special talented ones have more leverage than the college draftees who can only threaten to play Indy ball. See Porcello, Rick.

you don't even realize how fast 95 is until you see it for real, it's pretty ridiculous.
