TIP: Best way to ask for help and get solid answers

When asking about trades, potential pickups, etc, it helps to post additional information such as your complete roster and your league format. Often, whether a trade makes sense or not depends as much on your roster situation, whether you're in a keeper league, etc. as on the players involved in the deal itself. Including this (and any other relevant information) will get you the most accurate replies.

As EugeneStyles says, putting basic information in the question title can help as well. "Trade Contreras for Wakefield?" will probably get you more (and better) replies than "Trade Question." The best way to increase traffic for your post is to answer other people's questions, and then leave a link in your post, asking for help in return. Even if you're not a fantasy expert, everyone appreciates a second point of view, and most people will be happy to lend a hand to someone who has already helped them out.

Note that you don't have to re-type your roster information every time you ask for trade advice. Now you can enter your roster information into your user profile. Then, when you're typing a post, just click on the shortcut button and your information will be there.

WHIR is an abbreviation for 'Will Help In Return'. The acronym is used to tell responders to your post that you will be responding to to their topic as a sign of appreciation.
