Theres a lot of cases where they have chosen to die. For me, I couldn't care less what these people choose for themselves, and I would defend thier right to choose not to have transfusions, meds etc, but for a child this is one decision which should not be down to the parents. It's very difficult though, as no doubt the child would share her parents POV, so are you going to force the child into having it. IMO you should do but there's no easy answer to this, very sad story.
