### Re: 4 questions

I got them all right! I don't know whether I should be proud or not...or whether my Math degree helped or not.

Fun though. I always love puzzles, brain teasers, etc...

BTW good luck this week...I think I'm playing you in one of my Cafe leagues.

you overtook the guy, and now hes in last. how else would you describe him?

It's phrased "if you overtake the last person,..."...and it's pointing out the fact that you can't overtake the last person...or if you are the last person already you can't overtake yourself, but even if you could you're still in last.

i know what its implying, but in everyday conversation, most people would say "i passed the last place guy" meaning you overtake him, and thus become in 2nd to last place, but its silly to debate. i love the brainteasers though.

The only problem with the question is you could literally be in any position other than last, and lap, in effect passing, the last place guy. But there's no way I'd ever say it if I were in last place and moved into second to last place.

I got them all, but I'm fairly certain I've seen them before.

My answer was "You're not in the race!" But it is a bit silly.
