I dumped him after the 2nd one since he isn't playing the next day. My goal is to get 162 games out of my C slot as fast as possible so I have an extra roster spot once I use them up.

Obviously this doesn't work as well in a H2H league.

That's a pretty interesting strategy. So you just rotate the FA catchers so that you get 162 games ASAP and be done with the position?

Have you had good experiences with it in the past?

Yes but it still takes a good portion of the season to get 162 games. I just think in a 1 C league the slot is useless unless there is a really solid sleeper guy like Martin last year who I drafted in a couple of leagues. This year the big sleepers were salty, soto and towles and I don't think any of those guys will be worth their draft positions.

He got caught stealing last night, but thats 2 SB attempts in 3 games. If he could hit 15 HR's, steal 10 bags and hit over .260, he would be a top 10 catcher IMO. Im actually thinking about making the switch from Bengie Molina to Suzuki this morning, I could use the extra stolen bags. That Giants offense looks anemic, I dont care where Benji hits.

Kurt Suzuki can pluck flies out of the air with chopsticks - in the green and gold he's like a Japanese praying mantis.
