Let's try to stick to the topic at hand! ;-D

The topic is dead pal, both ARE now in Yahoo.

BTW- Ramirez is looking every inch a top waiver pick with his .125 BA and 4 k's in 8 AB's.
Cueto I will watch with interest tomorrow and may just pick him up ;-)

Point taken, but even since their addition(s), people had been using this thread to discuss waiver strategies, future callups, and Cueto/Ramirez in general.

...but given the way the last page or so have gone, I don't see this going anywhere worthwhile now. I'll just alert the mods to close it. :-P

Seems to me like Yahoo strategically added Cueto

Postby chipper » Thu Apr 03, 2008 2:32 pm

Why else would he show up after he mad the Reds roster but before he pitched in a game? :-S

Both of the above reasons were given as to when players were added, yet neither of them were followed.... :-?

Johnny Cueto's late Yahoo addition...

Postby Inukchuk » Thu Apr 03, 2008 4:22 pm

Sure, a lot of people are upset about it, but at least now NZEff can use his #1 waiver priority on him...

Mods, cuff me up and haul me off... :-D

I still think the timing of his add was a bit fishy....

Why else would he show up after he mad the Reds roster but before he pitched in a game?
