This is the latest I have read...via sportsline:
Angels starter Kelvim Escobar (shoulder) is set to to toss a baseball on Wednesday in Arizona for the first time since having a setback with his pitching shoulder in mid-March, according to MLB.com. "Escobar's going to throw tomorrow, start the progression," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said on Tuesday night before the Angels faced the Red Sox "It's very encouraging. He's definitely more upbeat."
(Updated 04/23/2008).
Anyone else have any other updates?

Has there been any news about how it went last night? I have been searching high and low and can't find anything about it.

From the Angels website:
"Kelvim Escobar is retracing his first steps in his recovery from a labrum tear in Arizona. He threw soft-toss at 45 feet on Wednesday and will be closely monitored as he moves along with the hope of returning to the pitching staff. There is no timetable or target date for the man who won 18 games last season."
