Yeah coming from the only NL team worse then the Mets....good lord.
lol ..
not any more ...
Lets go Pad'Res'
Apparently you guys don't follow the NL Central much. The Pirates and Brew Crew are in a dead heat for that honor. Toss in the annual Griffey injury, Dunn's average, and a lousy pitching staff and the Reds will make a run at it too.
The red sox need to try to get soriano, that would inesify the rivalry so much, the sox could offer BK Kim and Scotty Williamson and some prospect for soriano. The sox fans want kim gone, and they got foulk so they don't need williamson, and the rangers are interested in prospects. I think that trade would be awsome!

really?
gee - I thought the season hadnt started. Oh thats right....another Padres fan that figures a fat pitcher , Jay Payton, and Brain Giles will bring them a division title.
"NOt anymore"
This is like smack talk from a Tigers fan. Wait until the All star break to talk. This isnt 1998

I'd take "a fat pitcher , Jay Payton, and Brain Giles " any day over Mike Cameron, Matsui, and looper
David Wells is a winner, Jay Payton is an average OF, and Giles could do ok if he stays healthy, which isn't exactly a surety.
Cameron might be the best defensive player in baseball right now. Matsui is an unproven prospect, but he's shown he has power and speed, is good defensively. And as far as Looper, I expect he'll do about as well as Benitez did for us, so it won't be too bad.
Overall it's about even with I believe the edge going to the Mets depending on if Giles can stay healthy or not.
And to be quite honest with you, I'd rather give up Reyes to get Soriano then I would Kazmir. Reyes has a history of leg injuries including quads, hammies, and that ankle sprain from last season he is still recovering from. too early to tell if he is injury prone but he starting a trend.
A Padres fan is actually trying to talk smack over:
David Wells – A fat, old, loud mouth who couldn’t stay in shape to save his life. If you think he’s going to do anything for you when it matters, please refer to Game 5 2003 WS.
Jay Payton – A mediocre OF who is LOST outside of Coors Field.
Brian Giles – His best friend’s initials are DL.
Where do you think you are going with this recycled trash?
Injury prone? Can he stay healthy? One knee injury in 4 years is not injury prone by any means.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
