Young or Soriano could be moved, 2/20
The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports that Major League sources have confirmed that Rangers' 2B Michael Young and 2B Alfonso Soriano would both be much sought after if placed on the trading block. The team could look into moving Soriano, possibly to the Mets in a package that would include 2B/SS Jose Reyes (keeping Young at second) and a young pitcher. Or, the team could look into moving Young in return for an established pitcher.
I am a HUGE Mets fan and they are not trading Reyes. They might trade Kazmir though because ticket sales are hurting badly. This was reported in the Dallas Fort Worth Star newspaper yesterday.

I read reports that said New York didn't even have to trade Soriano to get A-rod. Cashman wanted to get the deal done quickly though so he didn't screw around with any negotiations.

Yes, there is quite a bit of talk involving Soriano possibly being traded down here. It's all talk right now (read: rumors) but it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Soriano is very nice at his current price and he has 2 more arbitration years left so he's good trade bait at this point and time.
If my Rangers trade him, they better get some solid pitching in return dag nabbit!
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I wonder what good market value would be for a Soriano pitching wise. Who would you wanna trade with? Chicago for a Clement or Zambrano? I doubt they'd make that move in Chi-town, but I think it might be a fair offer.
