We've got a league that's 50/50... Half the guys love sports/fantasy baseball and the other half, well, probably quit by now.

....See anything (glaring) that I need to change or fix?

I'm looking to upgrade/Depth my SS/2B via trade(s)... If Lopez can find a new home, he might workout. Trade fodder would include my bench and a FA snag-and-trade.

*Uggla, B. Roberts, Bartlett and O. Cabrera - have been in my trade talk(s).


Here's some idea of the FAs out there:

Word is Burnett's stuff isn't what it used to be. I wouldn't expect too much from him this year(maybe an ERA around 4 and 10-12 wins at best). I would move him if you could get decent value.

For the most part, I see no major issues. 2 observations though.

1. I don't trust AJ Burnett as a SP. I'd rather have some more SP on the roster to account for him going down. Felix, Bedard and Young are good. I'd try to find one more quality SP.

2. I'm not in love with your bench for hitters (other than sheff). I'd try to upgrade a couple of thing. Corey Patterson is OK, but I'd see if Bourn or McClouth are out there as FA. I think they both have a better upside than Patterson, and they both give you a good speed option if your short on steals for a week. As for Lopez, I'd rather have Kendrick on my bench than him (although he dosn't have as many positions).

Hmm, I'll test the waters and see if anyone bites on a two for one deal.

I'm not in love with them either, in fact I'm filing for divorce! Bourn is taken but McLouth is a FA! Patterson is, oi, a gamble... I was hoping Bruce would get a shot this season, we'll see.

My bench is one big trade chip, I'm going to see if I dump them on someone else.

I think you may be chasing steals the whole season....Sizemore and Young may provide 30 each, but you don't have really any other source of speed.

Agreed.

I'm working on a trade for Uggla right now and hoping that Patterson and McLouth can produce some steals. SS is still a weak spot for me and it's hard to pull the trigger on a couple deals, everyone is after the Swish.
