I think the team will steal the most bases this year other than the Marlins and Devil Rays will be the New York Mets. With all the speed they added their intention has to be to run a lot more. I'd look for Reyes and Kaz to each steal over 40 bases. Cameron to steal over 30 and Floyd to steal around 20 and who knows Roger Cedeno may even return to form.

I don't think any of those guys hit those numbers.

Howe isn't a manager who likes to give his players the green light.

Cameron has the best chance to steal 30 IMO.

Interesting point - the Mets have speed aplenty, and given their roster, home field, and so on, it looks like they were born to run. BigL is right about Howe, though. It'll be interesting to see whether he stays true to his ways, or lets his horses run.

Good point. I don't know about Vlad though, he said he was experiencing thightness in the legs and would tune down his running game a bit early in the season.
