Or what if they go 0/4 on your bench and when in your starting line up they go 4/4 is their scored batting ave 1.00 or 0.50
So how does the scoring work for batters/pitchers?
Say there are 3 teams. With following total stats.
------------------HR------SB-------K
Team A---------12-------5--------8
Team B---------12-------5--------10
Team C---------13-------5--------12
Heres how the points would lay out, since there are only 3 teams a team can only win 3 points at most for a category and at the least one point. So for Ks, C has most and gets three, B is next and gets 2 and so on.
Thats fairly easy to understand, fun part is when teams are tied. With three teams the point columns for each column must add up to 6 (3!). So for HRs, since C has most it gets 3, A and B are tied so each get 1.5 (3 pts/2). In case of steals all are tied so (6 pts/3) 2 a piece.
------------------HR------SB-------K
Team A---------1.5------2--------1
Team B---------1.5------2--------2
Team C----------3-------2--------3
Team A Total: 4.5
Team B Total: 5.5
Team C Total: 8
Team with most points (C) is at the top of standings while team with least (A) is at the bottom.
To answer your quesitons:
If they hit a home run when on your bench but end up on your roster at the end of the year does that hr count?
No, only players in your starting lineup whether batters or pitchers can accumulate stats for your team.
Or what if they go 0/4 on your bench and when in your starting line up they go 4/4 is their scored batting ave 1.00 or 0.50?
The average would be 1.00 since bench stats do not count at all.
