Is it just me or has Jake Westbrook been nasty this spring? 14 shutout ings, 5 hits, and 16 ks. Bobby Cox was raving about him after todays game. I know he dealt with an injury last year but what do you guys think of his chances for a rebound year? Seems like he still has the stuff at age 30 to quietly win 15 games as the Indians #3 starter...

Sure he can get back to 2005 and 2006 numbers. 2007 was pretty much the same as well, except that he missed some time. Ignore the ST numbers.

Didn't you read the first post?
14 shut out innings with 16Ks! He will compete with Johan for the Cy Young at that rate. If he pitches 225 innings this year he'll get 257 Ks.
Wow now that's a sleeper.
