Tex by more than you think. Ensberg is due to drop his average since he'll be facing pitchers from both sides this year. Ensberg had 1-2 great months last season and the rest were just average. Tex is the better prospect if you can call him that.

Surprisingly I agree with the Big Boy. Tex is in for a great year.

I'd have to go with Tex as well however i'm kinda scared that he might have an Adam Dunn type season where he hits 30 homers but bats .230

But Teixeira has more upside

you may be right, but it won't be for the reasons you mentioned. He hits both righties and lefties well. His platoon situation wasn't one of putting him in only against lefties and Blum righties.

I think most people tend to forget the kind of prospect that Ensberg was. He is 3rd all time in HRs at USC, his power is no fluke. He is not much different than Blalock. He was ahuge dissapointment his first year and hit very well last year.

Like I said, you may be right, and I do agree Tex has more upside, but I can't figure out why so many people have so much faith in blalock and so little faith in Ensberg?

Teixeira is a solid hitter who hit .269 in his first season of MLB ball. My only 2004 Prediction of the year was that Mark would hit .330. I'm sticking to it. He improves every single season.

Yeah, Tex should explode this year. I just hope he doesn't do the Adam Dunn thing and channel the ghost of Pete Incaviglia......
