Tougher one: name the six cities on the 1990 NL expansion short list (Denver was one...)

I'm taking a shot in the dark, but how about Denver, Phoenix, Miami, Tampa Bay, Washington DC, and Portland?? I had a lot of trouble with that sixth city.

Denver, Tampa Bay and DC are correct, so is Miami (although I believe the term used was Southern Florida. Pretty good for a shot in the dark!

That leaves two. One more in Florida (that shouldn't be hard now), and one somewhat surprising one in the Northeast.

Good call on St. Pete Eugene. I forgot about that city. Providence could be a winner too. We'll have to wait for Arlo's response.

I think St.Pete is Tampa...those two cities are in the Bay together when I remember correctly.
So I think they are not belonging to it...

I think, we all lost thoughts on Orlando! What about this one here?

Actually, Buffalo doesn't sound bad. It sounds more likely than Providence or Hartford, now that I think about it. Upstate New York, eh? Well, if it's true, it's no wonder they didn't win the bid.

I could be stupid here, but I thought St. Petersburg was on the panhandle. Maybe I'm thinking of Sarasota.

Hartford also doesnt sound bad...but either way, Buffalo or Hartford, I think they never had any chance, hehe. Although Buffalo would have been cool....the other version of the BoyILoveToLoseSuperbowls....
