I need 2 catchers in the active lineup. Being this is a 40 man roster league, there won't be (m)any catchers left when the draft is done....

LaRue or Hernandez. BUT, if Toby Hall IS out there - get him.

Get LaRue now. And then probably Ramon Hernandez.

don't be so concerned about getting a catcher if there is a better player available then wait on the catcher

Bennyy22 suggested that LaRue would lose playing time due to poor defensive ability, pointing out his league-leading passed balls total in 2002. Here's more to the story. LaRue had to catch knuckleballing Jared Fernandez several times, leading to a significant number of those passed balls. Fernandez is with Houston in 2003. LaRue has one of the highest percentages of throwing out would-be base-stealers. So I don't think he will lose significant playing time to other catchers.
But watch Corky Miller. If he can hit the way he has at times in the past, he may make LaRue tradeable.

Try Matt Lacroy, Catcher eligible, DH in reality for Minnesota.
