We're doing a fantasy baseball league on yahoo with co-workers. Half want Auto Draft, Half want Live. If we do a live draft and the other guys set there pre-rankings, when there pick time runs out, will the computer select a player from there rankings?

Yes, the computer will pick a player from their prerankings if they are unable to attend. It slows down the draft a bit but seems to be the best solution for you.
The computer also changes the rankings a little at the end so that the autodrafters don't end up with a team full of pitchers, etc.

Sure thing. If i remember correctly, its 90 seconds between picks, but its been about a year since my last draft, so i am not certain.

I think it's a min and a half for the first couple times they pick and then it sets them on autopick and they the computer takes like 5 seconds to pick for them.

It actually speeds the draft up because once the time runs out on their first pick the computer automatically sets their team to autodraft so when their turn comes up again it picks someone for them automatically and doesnt wait the 90 seconds.
