16 team H2H keeper league forming

Hey guys,

I am looking to get a group together to do a SPortline league. Here are the details.....if interested please reply here....I will email you more info.


-3 Division setup like NL (5,6,5)
-Playoffs - 3 Divisional Winners and a Wildcard
Player Pool: AL and NL Players.
Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF, U, SP (3) and RP (4).
Eligibility: 10 games last year or 5 games this year.

Categories (8 x 9)
Scoring for Batting Categories
AVG
HR
OPS
Runs
RBI
SB
TB
Extra Base Hits

Scoring for Pitching Categories
BAA - Batting Average Against
ERA
Holds
K/BB
QS - Quality Starts
Saves
WHIP
WPCT - Winning Pct
Shutouts *

*SHutouts will be used as a bonus of sorts, hence the 9 x 8

As you can see, this isnt your typical league. I have played regular categories for four years, and I want to deepen that categories some. These are all fairly self-explanatory.

Roster Limits
Active Players 16
Bench 9
DL 5
Minors 15
Total Players 40

So we will have a true 40 man roster....with a 15 man minor league system.

The league will also be a keeper league. You'll keep 6 guys, plus your minor league system. Keepers will be due by March 1st every year.

The best point of this is that the league winner gets a $120 gift certificate to the MLB.COM fan shop. The award will be paid for using the league entry fees.

The league entry fee is $15

$15 x 16 teams is $240, the league will be $120, and then there will be $120 left after that.

Some other things

We will use wiver rules like Yahoo

If we wanna use a different hostings ite, we can.

We will have to decide on how trades will work,as far as the veto process go. In my football league we had a Commish COuncil, where we had 5 guys vote after all the protests work. we could do something like that.

And also, any KC ROYALS Fans are VERY WELCOME!!!
