good overall team, here's what i think you need: closers and speed. your power is good and starters are good. sorry to be critical especially since the draft is over and you can't do anything about it, but i think you could have gotten a higher impact player in the first round than vlad. i love vlad and he is awesome and will be good for your team, but you could have had him in the second round. soriano is a good second rounder, but i think his sb days are not going to be near what they used to. braun in the fourth was a steal according to many peoples rankings. so it sort of evened out. keep an eye on the waiver wire for closers as that is a volatile position and new closers emerge every year.

hope that helps good luck

I really like your team. I'm not crazy about Vlad and Soriano up high, but every other pick looks good to me and I wonder if you can package some of your depth for a true star if you want to make a splash. Otherwise I envision this as an upper-echelon team.

i guess i should have been more specific. i am taking over a team from last year and his keepers were vlad, soriano and beckett so those were my first 3 rounders no matter what. I noticed I do have a few SB guys but I stayed away from closers as you never know who they might be. Polonco in the 20th i thought was great. i mean he will hit 300 good ob% and no errors. thanks for all the help guys

good team overall, you do need speed as other have said. your right about closers but i like at least two in the draft. i konw you never know who is gonna get hurt but i think you need to take the chance to stay ahead of the curve. other than that you have some good core guys, i think you will do well in your league
