thats one name i forgot about.... Barfield. i remember alot of people thinking he was right there with weeks/philips/kendrik when in reality only philips proved right weeks failed to some extent as did kendrik and barfield completely and utterly flopped after that nice rookie year with SD. i still believe in Barfield and it wouldnt shock me if he pulled a philips type career.... yup still drinking it ;-D

I wasn't around here much, but I remember Teahen-mania was running wild.

Also I think everyone (me included) drank the Dave Bush koolaid.
Never again. I stuck with him until August in my dynasty league. The extra-base hits just kept on coming :-t

Oh man - I saw this tread so I went back and looked at my draft results from last year in my keeper league

Keep in mind when you see how bad this is that I won.

9 Alex Gordon 8-o
10 Bill Hall 8-o
11 Rich Hill
12 Rocco Badelli 8-o
13 Tom Gordon 8-o
14 AJ Burnett
15 Howie Kendrick 8-o
16 Dave Bush 8-o
17 Brandon Phillips
18 Jonathan Broxton
19 Daniel Cabrera 8-o
20 Anthony Reyes 8-o
21 Carlos Quentin 8-o
22 Octavio Dotel

I've never done particularly well drafting and do most of my best work off the FA list, having grabbed BJ Upton and Corey Hart because of the Cafe before the season started and later getting Hunter Pence and James Shields.

I got hit with the Brew Crew flop, Dave Bush and Bill Hall. Other than that I got lucky and did'nt end up with any of the high round busts.
I love my Diamondbacks!

Surprised no one mentioned Bay. He was viewed as equal or better than Holliday in the second round.

Alex Gordon was pretty bad. People were expecting him to put up David Wright like numbers last year.

I remember there being a huge Iannetta hype.

Also Jose Reyes was vastly overrated. Some people had crazy projections for him.
