How did I do?

Postby Dorny » Fri Mar 21, 2008 8:29 pm

First time I ever played in a 12 team league, usually do 10.

It's H2H, the stat cats are: R, H, HR, RBI, SB, K, AVG, OPS, IP, W, SV, BB, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP. 25 minimum innings pitched per week.

My lineup will look like this:

Batters
C - Jarrod Saltalamacchia (Tex - C,1B)
1B - Ryan Howard (Phi - 1B)
2B - Kelly Johnson (Atl - 2B)
3B - Alex Gordon (KC - 1B,3B)
SS - Miguel Tejada (Hou - SS)
OF - Ichiro Suzuki (Sea - OF)
OF - Eric Byrnes (Ari - OF)
OF - Hideki Matsui (NYY - OF)
Util - Todd Helton (Col - 1B)
BN - Raul Ibanez (Sea - OF)
BN - Billy Butler (KC - 1B,OF)

Pitchers
SP - Jake Peavy (SD - SP)
SP - Roy Oswalt (Hou - SP)
SP - Matt Cain (SF - SP)
RP - Jonathan Papelbon (Bos - RP)
RP - Todd Jones (Det - RP)
P - Tony Pena (Ari - RP)
P - Brian Wilson (SF - RP)
P - Rafael Perez (Cle - RP)
BN - Ian Snell (Pit - SP)
BN - Randy Johnson (Ari - SP)

Looking back I really don't need Butler on my team but I will wait and see what happens. I will probably end up dropping him as IP is a cat or look for a MI. I took a gamble on Randy Johnson at the end.

I don't feel terrible about this team but I don't feel all that great either. Tejada and Matsui might have saved my bacon getting them in the 8th and 9th rounds and my team was starving for power.

I will try and help out you guys as I can.

team is just medium - I think you need more Offense and some luck with the SP's.

You're right about needing Tejada to come up big.

I kind of agree that your team is average. Hopefully Tejada bounces back big in Houston. I also think you should consider moving a couple relievers for another solid starting pitcher, but i do like pitchers you have.
