Why mess with a good thing? It seems to me like so far the move to the OF is not agreeing with his body. Some guys just aren't meant to roam around out there, either way it seems less risky to have him at 3B. Do the Brewers really want to risk this just to get Bill Hall in the infield?

I think alot of the move had to do with Braun's extremely poor defensive skills at 3b rather than fitting Hall into the lineup. if Braun was a better defensive 3b i doubt they would even consider the move.

Of course, but the point is, is it worth risking Braun's health? To me his bat is far too important to risk having him run around out there where he's not used to. It's already apparently not agreeing with his body, as he is having lower leg issues.

do you know how many errors braun committed last year?
yeah he slaughtered the ball, then proceeded to commit error after error after error....
if anything the move will let the kid have less on his mind, and be MORE focused on hitting the ball.... at least this is what I am hoping since I am a BRAUN MAN CRUSHER!

agreed.... no matter how good your bat is if you play the position that bad defensively (it was almost made me sick sometimes) then yes you need to find another spot for him. he'd be a DH in the AL for sure imo...

i dont think they thought the move would risk his health, just improve his defense. they might rethink it now, but the move wasnt to "get bill hall in the infield".
Their two best hitters are also terrible defenders, the Brewers must be regretting moving to the NL right now.
